Inner Banks Inn, Restaurant & Event Venue

My wife and I have stayed here twice. Great service food is good. The accommodations are great as we live the historic look and feel of the houses. Downtown Edenton is wonderful. Keep it up guys

We just spent 6 nights here. Our room was GREAT. It had a big seating area. We have an adjustable bed at home, so I usually don't sleep well when I have a bed that isn't adjustable. This bed was GREAT and I slept good every night. The service we received was outstanding. I gave 4 stars because typically when we stay at a B&B we meet the owners and they tell a little about the area and things to do, but we never met the owner of this Inn. Also, the food variety could have been better. We had ham every morning.

My guest and I celebrated an early Friday 13 Valentine's Day dinner at the Table restaurant which is connected to Inner Banks Inn. The Table was serving a 5-course Valentine's Day dinner special. The Table is tucked in behind the Inn. The decor matches the style of the old homes. We arrived at 6p. We were warmly met with smiling faces. The staff were exceptional. Very personable and attentive. Excellent menu familiarity. Easily incorporated dietary request. Seating was in a small dining room, but comfortable. Started off with a Valentine's Grazing Board filled with meats, cheese, various fruits. Second course was the Shrimp and Barratta. Third course was a Ceasars Salad. For the Fourth course, I upgraded to Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and white asparagus. For the dessert, I had a Valentine's sampler that had three very tasty items. Dessert was not listed on menu and I have lost my notes on this item. Each serving was exceptionally good and I enjoyed each bite. Food Presentation and preparation were first rate. Hats off to Chef Amanda. Loved the Shrimp and Barratta. Filet Mignon meal was delicious to the last bite. Very well done. Congrats to the whole staff. Susan, the owner, very gracefully greeted every guest and created a very hospitable, welcoming dinner setting. Candance helped with our coats and made sure that I did not forget the flower I had requested for my guest. Thank you. Enjoyed our first visit very much.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The breakfast was the best meal of our entire visit to Edenton. We will definitely be back.

We stayed on the first floor of main inn. I chose because of walk in shower (hate tubs). Even though our room (Hugh Williamson Suite) is located on the corner of home (so streets on two sides) it was very quiet and super comfortable. Our breakfast was fantastic and Terric did a great job serving all of us with kindness, efficiency and humor. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was a totally unexpected visit. We appreciated the excellent service and quick attention to any request. The room was so comfortable and perfect. The porches were lovely to relax on and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were impeccable with the service they provided. Could not have improved a thing. We will return.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending two and a half days at the Inner Banks Inn, and everything was phenomenal! I’ll actually be back in a week—I’m pretty sure this is my new home away from home. Every room I saw was absolutely gorgeous, and the beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to get up (I may have even slept past breakfast one morning!). I love that they also offer a handicap-accessible room with ramps and even a Tesla charger—great touches of convenience. Breakfast was fantastic—I especially loved the poached eggs. Jennifer was incredibly helpful with recommendations for lunch, dinner, and things to do around town. This is the perfect getaway if you need to unplug for a couple of days. Step outside, turn left toward town, and you’ll find plenty of quaint little shops to explore. If you’re looking for a breath of fresh air, big trees, and a peaceful reset, this is exactly where you need to be!

Wonderful two night stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was lovely, and the food was delicious. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
